With the really warm temperatures we’ve been having recently several trees are flowering early, like the knob-thorn acacias, Tamboti and Albizia.

The baboons are having an absolute feast with the knob-thorn flowers stuffing them into their mouths faster than they can chew on them.

With only a few impala on the airstrip sparring and the jackal having moved south I decided to spend the day traversing the reserve north to south checking out areas I haven’t been able to access since the rains.
