Just to the left from where we had the dancers, three much bigger human figures present themselves to us.

Not very clear, it seems like these figures are almost standing with folded arms admiring the dancers…It is not possible to say if these have anything to do with out dancers.
Vultures will seek out a roosting spot for the night, usually staying in close proximity of predators with a fresh kill.

The vultures couldn’t get to this buffalo initially but still stayed close by. The lions did the hard work for them and dragged the carcass to shore.

Just below our dancers from a few days ago, a painting of a Rhino is found. Unfortunate weathering on the head make it a bit difficult to say exactly what Rhino it is but judging from the low head position it is more likely to be a White Rhino. A grazer.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the dancers above?
Feeding for Lions is always a fighting affair. Getting to the best spot at the carcass for the most tender meat. Cubs and adults will sort out the hierarchy ladder as they feed.

Young males are most often at the bottom of the list when it comes to feeding at the kills.

Just above our dancers from yesterday, we find a single human figure and what could be some sort of donkey like animal. Although the Bushmen are not know for using animals to lighten their daily tasks, this is a very interesting image. It could quite possibly be an animal that the hunter shot as well.

Vultures play and integral role in cleaning up the bush, preventing carcasses from lying around and unwanted diseases spreading.
One amazing partnership amongst the scavengers in the African bush is the one between Hyenas and Vultures. Vultures are depending on these scavengers to open up carcasses for them because they do not have the ability to do it themselves. Once opened it doesn’t take long to completely clean up the carcass.

As dusk approach, the Vultures would seek out a roosting spot close by, hoping that the food would still be there in the morning. Hyenas will take over the night shift of doing the cleaning work.
