This is the resurfacing of the Mark attack… it’s been ages I know. Enjoy the elephant down at Malilangwe Dam, we could see them from our porch, a breeding herd numbering thirty five.
They’ve been quite destructive, pushing over an old Baobab tree on top of the hill and then tearing their way through to get to the water.
And that little speck on the lower left is me.

Thanks Mark - the ellies were worth the wait.
Awww, cute ellies Mark! Great music to go with the video!
Have I ever missed you!! Any word on Kim’s wild dog video?
IT has been ages! Wonderful footage as always
Thanks Mark !
Beautiful, just beautiful!!
As Karen said, I have missed you!!
Thank You!
Yep ,… You know you’ve been missed as we are all still checking the site each day !!
Thank You for taking the time to film that and put it online! It was awesome to see the elephants, they look so happy with all the new green plant life and fresh water! I was wondering how many there were so it was nice of you to tell us! Wow! That was a lot of elephants!
It was very brave of you to be on ground level like that! lol especially with all the other wild animals that are running about. Take Care! And happy filming!
It feels so great and sad at the same time when I watched the video…
I’m so happy that in another part of this world, there are still so many elephants that looks so happy with all the greens around them and spaces where they can live and have families.
But, it reminds me of what happen in my country….greedy deforestation is everywhere, and it made so many wildlife including elephants have no place to live. Recently, there are reports about how elephants came to some villages and killed people. It’s because they have no place to live…
That’s really sad, Tropical. It’s why I’m so glad that Kim and Mark produce these videos to let people understand why it’s important to stop deforestation from happening and to keep the animals safe. Job well done, Mark and Kim!
Wonderfull videos. Remember how nice are photoshots instead of the (not only former) gunshots, wait, aim and shoot is the same but the result is civilized, beautifull, sustainable.
Great footage of “Elephant Down Under. Just listening to the background audio is amazing in itself. Your very fortunate to be able to witness one of the great mammals of our planet. Keep shooting and stay safe.
I agree with Topical….I mean many governments around the world have no serious commitment to try at least reduce those greedy paper company to cut down trees and damage the living things who lived in the forest…
Too right Jeffrey!
you r life you and me and you : ) Thanks admin.
Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your. Computer

Whether the financial storm has past or not? It will not affect the common’s passion on the athletics of American football. And it will be the most useful way to help you to get rid of the negative mood. I am a big fan to Troy Polamalu of the Steelers. The moment I wearing Polamalu jersey and cheering for him is so wonderful!
Kim and Mark are very busy filming the Wild Dogs. Kim mentioned that it is getting difficult for them to update this site.
As much as we love seeing new videos, we just have to wait.

i just love the elephants. thank you so much. absolutely spectacular. i wish i could be there with them.
Good pictures of the elephants and good video quality, was the camera used expensive?
Thank you for your sharing of this wonderful film and pics you posted are all nice.So touching…But it reminds me of death of an elephant.
When the old ones become old or are dying, they usually slow down their steps in the troop. No one would notice that they are missing. The old ones just don’t wanna be encumbrance of the troop.Live together, die alone.Elephants are great animals! But when it comes about their deaths,I feel sad about them…
Very nice post.
Great camera work.Nice music.
Goodmorning,
Visiting this site again, I was wondering how the progress was in making the wilddog films. I really miss the daily shots of Africa.
Hello, Douwe! Good “to see” a familiar face, so to speak. Totally sure all of us have gone into serious Africa withdrawal…. Can hardly wait to see the films, though! Ivanova got to take a neat trip to Africa earlier this year. Ron keeps checking each day, I used to, but now go thru my favorites directory. Ah, to see Manyari again! ANYBODY, two- or four-footed again!!
best wishes to all,
b.
Great filming and nice music. Can’t wait to be in the bush again!
I haven’t checked for a long time… I keep waiting for something to appear on my RSS feeds. I am glad to see that people are checking in now and then, waiting for wildcast’s return!
It feels great to see pictures and footage like these. It makes me feel that I don’t need to be there to feel the thrill.
i own at least 3 video blogs and i love to video blog myself and do some crazy stuffs;`,
Alarm! Kim!! What happened to all of your photo galleries on Flickr? Only a total of, gasp, wheeze, 200 photos!!!?????!! Oh, the blow….
