Slow Dogs: Video

The dogs spent another night and day at Khayeni pan. These hot temperatures are sure getting to them.
But at dawn they hunted successfully killing something in a deep ravine. There was no way I could even see in there it was so deep and dense.

Waiting
All fed well and I left them there to go wait at Khayeni pan. And sure enough about half an hour later they arrived and that was them done for the day passed out around the pan again.

Let sleeping dogs lie
It was a little cooler at dusk and the pups, now being more comfortable about water, were happily running through it and playing. Then the Hooded Vultures got the treatment. They just had to be harassed. With them out the way it was then the wildebeest that the pups tried to chase but each time the bull turned on them the pups scattered.
And when that party was over they tried their luck with a lone zebra but soon got sorted there too. But it was all good fun for the pups.

Water shy?
Mom and dad paid little notice and weren’t even interested in hunting at dusk.
I left them all playing around Khayeni pan at sunset.
