Today was hot and felt strangely humid. The animals were all near water this evening and it was great to see this huge rhino bull, caked in a mud pack. He had just come out of the pan. We also saw a mother and calf later, the mother peered myopically at us, trying to figure out what we were.

These giraffe were also close to the pan, this cow looks heavily pregnant.

As I photographed her, another peered over a bush to see what all the fuss was about.

The game viewing seems to be improving daily and I am hopeful for the season ahead.
