Today, like the last three days has been cold and cloudy. Kim is away, taking his family back to school after a week here. After working in the office all morning, I escaped into the bush after lunch. As I drove, it began drizzling and I didnt hold much hope for the afternoons game viewing. Banyini yielded this zebra and his family, munching quietly on their lunch.

There was a lot of elephant sign at the pan and they seemed to have headed east. As I made way in that direction, I heard a radio report that the elephant were on Orphan Road. It didn’t take long for me to get over there.

A small bunch were digging in to some strychnos fruits (monkey oranges). They crunched the hard fruits loudly and with relish.

I spent half an hour or so with them until the drizzle increased and the light dropped too.

The background music on your Wildcasts is always lovely. Is it available on a CD? Eve
Good to hear your voice Darryl, thanks. Now we need a photo of you. Nice to see the egrets in a tree rather than “buming” a ride on someones back!!!
High Eve, The music we use on wildcast is stock music and we license it from the writers. You can contact some of them at musicint@musician.org. Hope this helps Bye Darryl
