That anonymous place they always seem to find in this weather.
The weather was playing tricks on the Platana’s too. Or maybe they know something we don’t know, a cyclone on the way or something. It’s very unusual to find the frogs so far from water but I saw at least a dozen each about fifty meters apart, and all heading north. They had probably chosen the cool weather to move on from Banyini, but had about one and a half kilometres to get to water. A serious challenge.

It was a strange sight especially as these frogs spend just about all their time submerged in water.
Again all morning was spent on the hangar AGAIN!

But I took the afternoon to go driving around with my daughters. The absence of animals became even more prevalent the longer we spent looking. Lindy decided to get carried away taking pictures of dad and her sister. Hmmm….. looks like I need to touch up 4
A couple of young white rhino’s did oblige and then took off.

It was only on our way home that we found the baboons all chilling out on the rocks as last light descended on them and us.

It was nice to watch the baboons and, at the same time, hear your daughter talking to you (in the background), trying to get your attention. Those moments are precious, and once they are gone, they are gone.
Hi Kim - Great to hear Father trying to keep Daughter quiet - and failing miserably. What a wonderful life your two have- especially during the school hols. I hope someday to see some videos made by them!
