Elephant calf runs for the Water

I took the opportunity to snap a few shots of the action as some ele bulls came in to drink.
They had a great time splashing in the mud.
Kim got a few shots in as well!

My heart was deeply touched by this video. Such a sweet baby just learning what water was all about, the tenderness of the adults makins sure the little one was OK and was following along, the careful touching and guidance of the many gentle trunks, then last of all the soft pink of the baby’s skin when it was wet. I was alternating laughing and ahhhhing.
Yes, indeed, one of the best videos I have seen. Many thanks for showing us the tender side of nature.
I agree with Donna. Touching, tender, lovely and funny (so to speak).
I’m sure that elephant calf will be happy when he learns how to use that “thing” on his nose!!!
