These perfectly in form zebra were like synchronised swimmers. They were grazing along the airstrip and happened to arrange themselves for the shot.
The tortoise was a beautiful specimen,the biggest I’ve seen.He did not want to hang around and was off into the bushes as fast as he could manage.
Kim will be back on Wednesday next week. He had to have an appendectomy in USA the day he was due to fly but is recovering and should be flying to South Africa today. Also, Manyari was successfully darted and her transmitter was replaced. I hope to do a wildcast or two on the operation soon.
