All morning they pelted down. At least it was a pleasant warm rain.
I was out jogging and kayaking, loving it all.

When the rains let up in the afternoon I headed out with the girls.
We were lucky to find Manyari and the 6 youngsters resting up on Banyini. And they really weren’t up to anything. At dusk they aroused but ever so slightly.

I sure hope this isn’t the pace they’re setting for the rest of 2008!

Sorry but I’ve got to run, the party’s already started.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year to you and your family! BTW: love your Lilac Breasted Roller photo! They are great birds!
Happy New Year Kim! Thanks for all of the great videos and interesting/entertaining tales of your adventures. I am so glad to see how well Manyari has recovered from her terrible injury earlier. It is actually amazing.
Hope you have a wonderful, exciting, and safe 2008.

Thank you very much for bringing us an “up close and personal” look at so many wondrous things. I think Manyari’s story is one of my favorites. We look forward to a new year of excitement from the bush.
