Tree squirrels spend their winter nights huddled up together in holes. With the first rays of dawn they stretch themselves out on tree branches to warm up before heading out on their days foraging.
My last day in the US and I woke up to this beautiful dawn. All very beautiful but I sure am looking forward to an African dawn. 2 weeks away from home and it’s time to get back.

We in the US love our squirrels! My husband and I had one squirrel we particularly enjoyed, his tail was cut off right next to his body, we named him “Bob” (the name given to the hairstyles of women in the 20’s and 30’s who cut their hair short). Hope you enjoyed your visit to the U.S.! I love your videos (whether they are Elephants or squirrels)!
Hi Kim,
I can’t wait for you to give us a report on the injured lioness. I hope she made it !
Have a safe trip back tp beautiful Africa.
