Give elephant calves water and mud in these hot temperatures and it’s like taking a kid to Disney World! The little guys just can’t contain themselves but are constantly kept in check by their mom’s and big sisters.
Late yesterday afternoon heavy clouds descended on the Grand Tetons and that was them gone for the day.
Out jogging at dawn we were greeted by this stunning sight of snow covered jagged peaks. This is why they’ve always chosen this location for the film festival, ‘cos it’s just so stunning!
I’ve been coming to the festival for years, but this is the first time I’ve brought a camera. And maybe just in time, as global warming is having its impact here too. The glacier up in the Tetons is significantly smaller than it was 2 years ago.
But then there is good news coming from the festival in the large number of films being made tackling all these conservation issues. Lets hope it’s not all too late.
