We left Manyari in peace last night while I caught up with other work. No unfortunately it wasn’t time off. Although that’s coming soon.
I’m sure we’ll find Manyari still in the hills tonight, but I’m not sure her cubs will be with her, possibly having moved off to find the rest of the pride. And hopefully Manyari has managed to join the pride too.
I really feel bad for Manyari, I sure hope she makes it. Too bad that man can not intervene and stitch up the wounds, but nature will do as it will.

Manyari looks bad. Isn’t there something you and your team can do? At least get her some food and perhaps examine the extent of the damage?
I understand that injuries like this one probably happen to many other animals and no one helps them, but it is hard to watch and see her starve and in pain.
