African wildlife adventures live from the bush
Just before Stitch died of rabies, she and Whisky were taking an afternoon rest at Joli dam where this Warthog family came for a drink and wallow. The Warthog were not sure if something was lurking in the bushes and kept a wary eye out. The two dogs circled around and at the right moment dashed toward the Warthogs now in pig heaven. The Sows held their ground and made sure their little ones made it home safely.
The cam went down after getting back to camp as apparently the card in the computer at the base had bombed out. We decided it was a good time to take a break and spent the night in camp.
Annette was going to go out with me as Richard hadn’t quite recovered, but is a lot better.
Anyway a good rest was had by all and the kids were happy to sleep with daddy for a change.
