Luckily we had a fairly tame night, definitely nothing as wild as the night Tjololo and Tjellers had.
Richard was still being attacked by his bug, so I took the reins myself shooting for the internet, shooting film and taking photographs. No wonder the night went so fast.

Usually courting leopards will keep on the move as they mate. But luckily last night with them having a kill they stayed pretty much in the same place, which made it a lot easier for me to operate.
The hyaenas continued to pester them through the night as they went through their bouts of mating. They would mate as often as every 5minutes for about an hour and then having about an hours break before getting down to it again. Exhausting stuff and they’ve still got a couple more days at it.

I know this has little to do with “Tjololo 30th June 2007″but I just want to say the work you do is so inspiring,i love the wild and when i have saved up enough money to study nature conservation i want to be where you are now… living, loving and helping in any natural way i can!
Leopards are my number one predator along side the Caracal well should i say all the cats are amazing, they are incredible animals as you already know.
I recently watched your documentary “Night With Leopards” and i got to say it was something else, to see what you do everyday of your life makes me want to get into the bush asap!It would be a dream to one day be able to get close to a wild cat as you do with Tjololo.
Thank you for everything, this fantastic website, the breath taking documantaries and for motivating me into doing what i will love for the rest of my life.
Keep up the extraordinary work.
Thanks again
Chris
