The Tjololo Diaries

15th May 2000
No sleep today with discussing leopard cam opportunities with other leopard cammers visiting Mala Mala.
With Tjololo still with his kill we ventured to the north to pick up anything on general game we could find and ended up filming some zebra playing, knob-billed duck diving for food and hornbills dust bathing. A rather productive afternoon.
After dark we joined Tjlololo lying up about 200m from his kill. He carried on sleeping for several hours only moving over to feed on his kill around 22h00, then only to rest at the tree for several more hours.

In the early hours of the morning, leaving his kill he headed south at a slow pace, marking as he went.
By dawn he was making the circular route back towards his kill and heading north when we had to leave him heading across a wetland.
