Elephant herds can travel vast distances in search of better grazing. Here at Malilangwe they often cover various habitats depending on the season. In this particular case they ventured across the Chiredzi river and were making their way back in to the reserve.
The herd took some time to enjoy the water and then moved off into the Tortillis Woodlands.
Kim when was this filmed? I noticed some of the shots from the header of the site were used from this film, some of my favorite by the way. but I noticed the photos up some months ago and was wondering when this was filmed. Was Chipfongwe one of the little guys in the film?
Yes this was filmed last year. All the clips over the last few weeks while my shoulder has been recovering were from last year this time. before Wildcast started.
