African wildlife adventures live from the bush
The rains didn’t stop the bunny!
A gentle drizzle showered us for most of the day but this didn’t stop the Easter bunny from doing his rounds even here in the middle of the African bush.
So it was the girls on a chocolate HIGH for the rest of the day.
The Great Dance. Were they celebrating something here with this big dance? The 7 figures to the right are dancing but what are those others to the left up to? Is the possibly a wedding?
8th April 2000
Although a quiet night, the morning did bring promise when we found tracks of a male leopard and heard it calling in the heart of Tjololo’s territory. We were unable to follow up but knowing his whereabouts, we will concentrate our efforts there tonight.
The 3 male lions eventually moved off from the buffalo carcasses early in the evening. For some reason they moved off in different directions calling as they went, although they didn’t move very far. Not surprising with stomachs like that.
