Giraffe roost dawning: Video

A gentle drizzle came drifting through the reserve on and off all day. Great to have the rain which will keep some of the grass layer green for that bit longer.

amazing stuff. what happens to the ox peckers when the giraffe gets chaised by preditors at night… or worse, gets caught?
S….. happens. They fly off and hope for a happy landing and then will spend the night in a tree or on the ground. But around full moon i’m pretty sure they can see enough to fly around and will probably look for another host.
