Had to shoot off to White River (home, 1 ½ hours drive away) to sign documents. Raining all the way there and back. Back on the reserve I was stuck for several hours on a road.
That was it. There was no ways we were going to be able to work and had a good evenings break.

Kim, forgive me but I thought I recently read you talked about Tjellers died sometime ago. Was I right? I just couldn’t find where you taked about it. I thought you had made a comment on her being gone sometime ago. I was looking for her on the Mala Mala web site, was she known by a different name?
Tjellers died quite some time ago. Although we don’t know exactly when as she was never found, but she hadn’t been seen for quite some time when I left Mala Mala. Back then she was already 14 years old, which is old for a leopard.
Kim what does “Tjellers” mean?
Tjellers is short for Tjellahanga. Her territory encompassed the Tjellahanga river and so she was known at the Tjellahanga female by the Mala Mala rangers. I think Tjellahanga is just a name, no meaning.
