8th March 2000
Luck was on our side for a change as Gloria wore herself out in Mozambique and only had a few drops left for us. So hopefully after today the sun will be out again to dry up the mess her sisters left behind.
This continued to hamper our progress when we had female leopard tracks heading west off the road and there we heard impala snorting in the area. But there was no ways of following up under these conditions. We expect this to be Tjellers.
Again no sign of Tjololo.

Now almost half way through the production and having seen the latest batch of rushes (film shot), we took stock of how the film was faring. All seems to be very much on track with some great material. We still need a few more “cherries” that will make a “wow wee” of the film. Those only come with time. All the other fairly basic material we should get in the remaining period. So although we are having some dead times now, it is still no cause for concern. We just have to ride this wet period through.
