Not always. These feathered creatures often seek out predators as their neighbors for the night. Vultures often hang around the dens of Wilddog and even choose to roost where a pride of lions is having a rest.
Vultures keep the bush clean by finishing off any carcasses that might be lying around that some predator forgot about. This ensures that diseases are kept under control.
As the lions will move off hunting for the night, the vultures will decent to their roosting spot for the night.
