No she never made it. She took refuge in the den and subsequently died there. I only know that ‘cos some time later one of the dogs pulled this dried out carcass out the den. In the first 4 months i worked with the dogs we lost 4 dogs. But since then, now 7 months, we haven’t lost any others.
